This was inspired by a contribution I made to momare's project "20th Century Funk" when it was a James Brown tribute. My track was a bit to, err....busy, so I played another one that was more in the style and less busy, but by then other's had contributed and so while we used the mellower riff, it ended up outside the true JB funk style.
