THIS SONG IS BASED ON A TRUE STORY. *********NEEDS MUSIC************
Strolled into a church today~~
Everybody was really great~~
talking about Jesus ~~
and how he saves~~
Then I heard the pastors wife say~~
Dont hang out were the sinners are~~
Cuz when you come to worship him ~~
judging eyes will know who you are~~
Dont let them see you doing things ~~
Or theyll call you a liar~~
when youre worshiping him~~
Here at this place were about~~
praying and praise ~~
not fishing for sinners ~~
in the places they play~~
They gotta get clean ~~
before they come into this place~~
Cuz its all about Jesus ~~
and how he can save~~
So I got up and left asking myself~~
Is that really what Jesus is all about?~~
No wonder this world is such a mess~~
God didnt make my Jesus like this~~
The Jesus I know looks for the ones ~~
In need of a Sheppard to bring them home~~
But maybe I really dont know ~~
that old book~~
Since the Pastors wife Im sure ~~
knows it real good~~
I just cant ever recall ~~
reading that part~~
Where Jesus said to stay away ~~
from where the sinners are~~
How will one ever ~~
find his wandering sheep~~
If they wait for them ~~
to wash themselves clean~~
Before they can wander in ~~
where eyes await to catch you in sin!~~
Jesus looks for the ones~~
who live in sin ~~
so he can bring them back to him~~
Walking among them ~~
in the places they play ~~
wont make you turn that way ~~
if your soul has been saved in his name ~~
and hes called you ~~
to find lost sheep that have strayed
