| Overview |
a woman at work asked what i would give her for her birthday. i said "i dunno, something that doest cost nuttin , i know, ill write you a song". well she got all excited and ran to the calender and told me what the date was (aug08). i was hooked. i took 4 lines from a song i wrote 30 years ago about annette funicello "she is a funicello" and added stuff about rebecca for she would soon be leaving for good.
i said i would start out acapella ( version here with kermit) and later get a band to help me on the net if i could find the site.
afer searchin for 2 hours , a guy at work found it in 2 minutes.
after asking 8 people, carlos cronz in miami, fla. helped me make 4 verions of the song acapella, instrumental, vocal added, rewrite.
to find the 4 versions click on tracks tab and look under mixdowns.
carlos played/arranged/mixed , did all but the lead vocals.

but she said yesterday she must go away (kermit)
and i said " that's ok i will find somebody new"
and it's a funny thing as she returned my ring
i knew she was right i must start my life anew
but i can't forget all the ways she really changed me
from a tadpole to a kindly hearted frog
maybe there's some soldiers needing (in spir a a tion) ( both )
to warm their mittens by a glowing log
