The Grand Prize Winner will be selected by Rudy Sarzo personally, with the winner announced next week. ALSO: There will be one additional individual winner announced -- also selected by Rudy -- for the best guitar solo! The winner of that will receive the Hermida Audio pedals added to the prize loot in December. Stay Tuned!

Highly esteemed Mr Sarzo: the Erhu on my project Xiong is VERY similar to a guitar. It just has less strings and is played and sounds differently. Please consider the Erhu solo for the "best guitar solo" prize, please please or I will hold my breath until I am blue in the face. Also please consider the fact that a snare drum is very similar to a banjo, which in turn is very similar to a guitar, so don't exclude our incredibly talented drummers. Vocal cords are also a type of strings. Hmmm piano has strings inside. You will have a hard time judging this.

My only recourse for not placing in the top three would be to vote heavily for the kompoz number one entry in the finals. I think as a group we have the ability to manipulate the vote in our favor and show them what we are made of.
Or... show them of what we are made. Ending sentences with prepositions is something up with which I will not put.

LOL Bjorn, you sound a little strung out.
I am surrounded by great talent, literally. I am humbled to be part of the group, there were/are so many excellent songs in this contest. Let's all have dinner at Lonnie's to celebrate!

Guitar players always get the focus. I have trained an aardvark to play Van Halen's Eruption at double speed. He is, however, completely useless at holding down a solid Cliff Williams beat. Either you have it or you don't. Most people don't.
I agree with you about the talent Sid, there is an enormous amount of that around here :)

Its believed that Texas Lost the Alamo to Santa Anna because David Bowie had to abandon his post to go to the little boys room. This, the bravest of all Texans held it for so long that when he finally gave into the urge, the resulting flood killed 23 of Santa Anna's men. Of course Texas still lost, but the term for the flood became known as a Texas gallon.
Also, its one size bigger than a Super Gulp at the 7-11s in Texas.

I pride myself on my knowledge of history. I'm also unbeatable at Rock and Roll trivia. So I'm glad no one caught the mistake in my last comment.
Davey Crocket is the Anna Stabber.
David Bowie is a Jagger Shagger.

... so you are saying that after David Bowie urinated an entire fleet of washtubs afloat, he and Davey went on to become Crocket and Tubs? When did Ziggy Stardust come to town? Was this before or after Santa Anna and her brother Santa Claus came to town? You'd better watch out.
