I've seen this type of thing before. A guitar player slips into a phase of habitual heavy drinking and finds himself playing bass. Next is air-drums in the audience. It makes me sad, but I would feel better if the band covered my tunes.

Lower the bass about a foot and you will look like you are playing rock. Lower it two feet more and you can join the Ramones.

Now, I don't want any of that "guitar-player-turned-bassist" talk, I started my illustrious career on guitar, and this only means that your Raf has come to the insight that bass is the noblest of instruments, and who wants to keep track of those extra strings anyway? They are not even tuned right, by all logic, the B string should be C and the high E string should be F.
