Kompozer Cory Frey meets Kompozer Jeff Chalpan Wed, Feb 22, 2012 10:42 PM UTC - ByCoryFrey
Hey everyone,
Thought it was so cool I had to post this. Jeff Chalpan [jchalp] and his wife Lora came to Las Vegas for a few days. We met at Mandalay Bay Hotel for dinner and drinks one night. It was really fun. Jeff is such a monster guitar player so it's like meeting a rockstar except I get to jam with him on so many songs now it's like we have known each other for years.
I hope it sparks more meet and greets. BTW we were right in front of the House of Blues. We ate inside the HOB in a restaurant with concert videos playing of many heavy weights in the music biz. What a tease for me that I wish we could have jammed. Good times Jeff and Lora! Come back soon. Or I guess it's my turn to see you now.
Jeff,me,Marty Keil and Peter Ward just finished a cool collection of tunes

It was discussed that we just need you and Pete cause there was half of Neticous pictured above. You and Pete were sorely missed.

Very cool! Jeff is one of the guys I would really love to meet too :). Vegas seems to be the best location for meeting Kompozers in the US, huh? :)
Rock On, guys!

I'm a little apprehensive about going to Vegas, with all the things I've heard about the crime, gang violence, and rampant nudity. You people need to watch more TV.
How about Lebanon, Kansas? They have a low crime rate, at least one restaurant, and it's near the geographic center of the contiguous US.

Or perhaps Jacksonville, NC? They are guaranteed to have no jazz, plenty of Merle Haggard and last - but by no means least - Sven-Martin!

Kansas? I guess I will bring my generator for the PA. :)
I don't watch TV much anymore. Kompoz is my TV. Besides Marty, I have not been mugged this week. :)

The population of Lebanon, Kansas hovers around 200 and has two beer joints.

A big draw in Vegas is, let's face it, Cory.
Cory, Jeff you guys both rock.

Thanks Lonnie. Right back at you Bruda! We need to share a beer and laughs too you know. We are so close. I know I keep threatening to jump in the car and come see you. I just can't stop getting mugged here. Haven't you been watching TV? :)

It was a blast meeting Cory. Lora and I had a great time just hanging out, talking about music and life. We will do it again! And you are welcome to come over this way anytime...
