imo studio was an interesting link. I have joined many online music sites and honestly, I haven't found one that comes close to Kompoz.com. I started with the Rocket network back in the late 90's which was similar to imo with an online DAW......they sold out after a couple years to the major labels. Kompoz. com is going to be a major player in the years to come as a musicians network and possibly an avenue for break out artist to showcase. Kompoz is quite possibly the next generation of American Idol once the major producers realize there are millions of artist around the world that want to be heard. What sells and how it's sold .......... well that's for those much smarter than I to figure out.

you may also want to check http://www.cockos.com/ninjam/ and http://ninbot.com/ the first being the app,that lets you build your own private server and the later being a community based in this clever idea that allows ppl from all the world to play in sync together without latency issues (but with certain limitations of course)
Even this app and the ninbot community are basically oriented for online jamming,they are also great tools for online collaboration,composing and developing any kind of musical ideas...not any kind of kompoz substitute,just another way to make music online,with its pros and cons just like anything

Very cool.....I have heard about this and saw a video of Peter Gabriel doing a live concert and had a guy playing harmonica from his bedroom.
