I wanted to make a comment on the Search functionality of the music, so thought I'd add to any similar conversation that's already gotten started here... but couldn't find a way to search the forums. LOL. I tried the search field at the top of the page, but it doesn't seem to search the forums.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I just wish that the google search could be tuned a little better. I added it to the Mixing group but it still collects results from other places in kompoz, and I did (or thought I did) scope it to that group.

Is there a technical reason an adequate, scoped search of kompoz can't be provided? I can't be the only person here who's worked on search engine stuff in both database and front end sides. I understand that the backend database choice may limit the searching if you can't use a cursor, etc. to page, but there's usually some reasonable way around that.

To to OP: this is a long standing, reoccurring question and need here, and my personal pet peeve...doh. Sorry for the hijack...

I tried limiting it to a forum search but it gives incomplete results so I left it as a site search. I think Raf needs to hire an unpaid intern who could probably whip one up in a day or two.

Well, as long as it's in the front of the queue...
