Hello. Jonny here. Just wanted to let all musicians and songwriters know that I have just finished my first album as a solo artist, in which I played everything myself...Everything I make off if the album is being donated to the Redcross. It is available at www.reverbnation.com/#/jonnykinetic...On the next record, I would like to give the money to you! Here's how it's going to work: I obviously will be writing the bulk of the material, unless somebody comes along who can tear it up...I am very open to recording other's songs. With that said for each song recorded, the songwriter/songwriters will recieve half of all earnings from the song in which they write. The musicians who contribute to the songs will split the other half evenly amongst themselves. That's per individual song. If you play drums on a tune with four other musicians (including myself) you would receive an eighth of the earnings from that song. If you play more than one instrument on a song, you will still recieve the same amount. It's based on the individual musician, not how much you play...For sales of the entire album, each song and contribution will be determined by how much you contributed to the entire project...In other words, if you write five of ten songs, you would recieve a quarter of all earnings from the album...Musicians will receive their due percentage...Hopefully, this isn't too confusing. Basically, it's a democracy thing...So if you're interested stay in touch and keep an eye on my profile as I start to upload new songs...I will write up a contract very soon, which must be signed before I can use any of your contributions...Thank you for taking interest in my project and may our musical future together be bright and sunny!
