Hi Room, any pics? Ive had nothing but problems with micing my kit in a small bedroom, it just sounds shithouse and Ive given up. My ears prick up whenever I hear others sharing techniques. Bleed is just one concern. One thing thats helped me (when trying to record in a bedroom) is using Vatar 'fusion' or 'Manhattan' sticks. They have a smaller tip. The thing ive found with these sticks is that they still have great dynamic range. It helps reduce velocty but comfortably, sorta without comprimising the feel of playing if that makes any sense. Ive found this benifical in bedrooms or smaller environments and knowing you have low ceilings I thought Id mention it. anywhooos, back too those sexy knee pads. Do they come in pink?

Im a cheap bastard so anything that does the job is good enough in my books. Ive welded up mic stands and made pop filters out of stockings to save cash. This way I can invest that little extra cash in more important things in say the signal chain for example.
