I took up the clarinet at age 10, because a friend played. It just came naturally. I took to the saxophone in high school, and through the years have done a lot of stage band and dance band work, some studio work in London, Toronto and in the Windsor/Detroit area.

I play sax, and still play the clarinet (occasionally) - my favorite style is smooth jazz. I play in church on Sundays, and have opportunity to play with some other like-minded musicians there. They love smooth jazz, too, and these guys have really been around - they've toured over the years with Alexander Zonjic, Kirk Whalum, Earl Klugh and the like, recorded for Anita Baker... so I consider myself to be tagging along with some good company. I am honored they let me join them!  :)  (Maybe they feel sorry for me?  ;)

 I love the concept of Kompoz, and I do hope to be able to get involved in some of the great projects I hear on this site. I appreciate the encouragement that some of you have given me. 

My greatest desire is to use the gifts God gave me. If you have a project that you think might benefit from a sax, I can take a swing at it. I can even make ME sound good with enough takes!!
