I was born in 1970, so I grew up with the music of the 80ies. That's one part of my influences. Other part was artists like Vangelis, Jeff Newmann and a lot of nearly unknown artists from the ambient scene (e.g. from www.musictrade.info).

So I actually work with vst synths added to FruityLoops to create some ambient and house stuff. Sometimes I add some sampling (e.g. my e-bass). But what I really need is some 80ies style female voice for lead/backup vocals. It's hard to describe what this is, but you can hear this with Gary Numan's 'Noise Noise' from 1982. Maybe I can find it here!?! :-)
