Hi, I'm Dan,

My 'axe' for the last many years is the Flute. I've been playing by ear for over 3 decades and am finally getting around to learning to site read music (slow but steady progress).

My taste range from Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull (of course), Kansas, Mamas and the Papas, Ivy, Garbage, Focus, Gentle Giant, Camel and Steel Eye Span...
... (With a little Gospel, Klezmer, Latin and Celtic thrown in for flavor).

I currently play in a 3 person ensemble (80's folk rock) and am a member of the Seattle Flute Society Flute Choir.

This last year I became a refuge from the MyVirtualBand site... Some of my collaborations from MVB can be heard here (Enjoy)
