I am a semi-pro musician,sound enginner and vintage enthusiast.

I 'm up to anything about the groove. 

I especially like funk,disco,jazz/funk,blaxploitation,soul,afrobeat,acid jazz.

I also like nu-jazz,nu-soul,chill out/lounge especially that of the 90s and reggae.

The 70s is my era of preference and around that sound is my music,sound,knowledge and my studio built. I spent around 7 years studying the sound of many studios of that era (Stax,The Automatt, Motown, NY studios etc.) and put together my home studio piece by piece and still trying to improve on all levels.

I currently work on a Mackie Onyx 1440i (I believe that piece of epuipment was built for me :) ).

I use a Vox Tonelab SE for FX not only for my instruments but as an insert for any track. 

I also use a Behringer tube stereo comp and a Behringer tube stereo EQ for mixing and mastering.

And last but not least the UAD plugins (almost all vintage plug-ins there are there).

I played with various bands since 1989 in various genres of music and I 'm proud that once or twice I 've been politely shown the door as beiing too groovy :).

My day job is Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgery resident and is quite time consuming but I 'm trying to find some time for music between work and studying.
