History
I'm Mark Christopher Frimmel, Born in Fort Worth, Texas, 1957. I played a little in High School in 1975 where I was fascinated by the works of Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, The 4 Tops, James Taylor, and Led Zeppelin. I pretty much gave in to making a regular living doing a number of jobs I never liked for over 30 years. I was injured on one of those jobs in late 2005, and was confined to a bed for 3 months. I started writing music in January of 2006, after my furry companion of 19 years passed, and I started recording June of 2006. Now I write several songs a month, and I'm hoping for one of my songs to make it. I have a weekly podcast where I showcase my own music with a little inside information on how the song came to be. You can Google me and you'll see I've been busy paving the way to a musical career.
My Father always said "If you could just write one song along the lines of "White Christmas", a true legendary Christmas song, you could make it in the music industry." So last December, I gave it a try. My song "It's All About The Love (It's Christmas)," is probably one of my best works, along with my song "How You Feelin' Now", a song about personal struggles and the War in Iraq. Since then I've added many songs to the line up, and my recording abilities get better with each passing day.
My main focus in my music are vibrant 3 part harmonies and versatile style of composition. If I were to categorize my style I would say I'm similar to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, America, and The Eagles. With the help of organizations like Garageband I hope to scale this giant industrial mountain called the Music Industry.
I do wish everybody well and I hope you enjoy my music.
Mark Christopher
