About Me

Came to Kompoz equipped with a simple MIDI keyboard, back in 2010, thinking that I might be able to contribute a few melodic lines on projects here and there.  I did that on a few projects.  A little added piano melody here, a little Flugel Horn melody there.  A few Cello melody lines here and there, then a little bit more piano on a couple more projects.

 

Found myself drawn towards doing vocal melodies.  I'm not much of a lyricist, but hey, that's OK because there are talented people here on Kompoz who can write good lyrics.  Now it seems that vocals are pretty much all I do.  I'm still coming up with melodies, which I love to do, except that I'm using my voice 99% of the time, as opposed to my MIDI keyboard.  Things don't always turn out as planned, but sometimes where you end up is better than where you were planning to go.

 

If I can only learn to pace myself and not spread myself so thin here on Kompoz.  I need to make sure my "To Do" list is not way bigger than the amount of time I have available to record.
