my diet is the south beach phase 1 diet   it almost works.

my addiction now is lyrics/melody/ideas  i sing a class c- but can find noone to replace me  that can beat me   WHERE ARE YOU NEIL DIAMOND/JOHNNY CASH

my songwriting  history is as follows :

 my first attemp at poery was in the fifth grade for a poetry contest . it went

" sometimes i wish that i could fly. just like a bird up in the sky.

to be up there    without a care    and watch the weary world go by".

i took second place losing to a guy writing about the civil war.

i was in a rock band in high school and wrote songs for them  (one was performed always).

they did my first song   wait for me   bout soldier  in battle  writin girl sayin  wait for me.    a physicist  wannabe   friend pointed out   that i took  tune phrase   from    they call  the wind mariah     and    soldier boy     .  shockin me that i acciden did it and   i said   yeah but the lyrics and feelins  are mine.    and its a hit   playin in kids head alll   day.   it went       every man turned 18 years  must fight for liverty.   my heart grew strong i shed no tears strength came to comfort me            as i cried out  oh wait for me,  darling oh please wait for me .   illl be comin home from my journey someday.   i swore him to secrecy and no one else figured it out.  it was accidental on my part.   pretty good for song 1.    at song 300 you get pretty good  but stilll   have trouble after 16 lines.  especially bridge iin middle.

i started out as rhythm guitar , but ended up a drummer.

i write songs typically while driving, sometimes in my dreams (freaky)

i usually get about 16 lines and get stuck. then eventuallly get the bridge

and complete the song. i have written about 30 complete songs and 300

song seeds ( 16 lines).  i then target a song and complete it on my computer

under "sony acid music studio"  software to make mp3 . i use it also to convert from wma to mp3 by mixing  only 1 track. my lyrics tend to be very lengthy without repeats.

a song is always playing in my head. if i don't work on the song seeds,

the song demons get angry for they want to be completed.

i write pop, country, wierd beatles, bob dylan type, and demented songs.

i can't stop writing for it is a beneign addiction that is not fattening or illegal.

some of my songs should be illegal.

one song about the civil war from pbs   seemed to get in my head and demand lyrics  .   i  put 16 lines to it   about a soldier dying of wounds at shilo and hallucinating .  but the sun wakes him  up and he remembers his good life before the war .  then he dies   but  his sons life has just begun.
