For those who don't know Jango, it is an internet 'smart" radio similar to Pandora and some other internet based music sites. A smart radio is a player that plays music similar to examples the listener selects. For example, the listener chooses Joe Satriani and he or she will hear Satch mixed in with similar artists like Blues Saraceno, Gary Hoey, and Rob Balducci. (Check out Rob Balducci if you want to hear a whammy Wizard; the guy is incredible.)

Jango is somewhat unique in that new artists can add their music to the mix and select artists as "similar" (or similar in marketing taste), thus having their music mixed in with the music selected by the listeners.

After several weeks, Superluminal Velocity reached #2 in the top ten artists of the week based on popularity!! I was completely shocked!!

What I'm not shocked about are the great musicians that made this possible. As with all SLV songs, they start as a bass sketch over a drum track. The talent from Kompoz makes real music from some of the ideas.

The honor of being in the top ten on Jango might seem insignificant to some, but it is HUGE to know that people like the music. Because of this, I want to thank the people who made the music happen.
