As you can guess, I play drums. I've played in various clubs in my town and did some gigs around Italy. And I played drums in the first album of a band called Qbizm. Then I married and raised a family, and had no opportunity to play for some years, since - you know - drums tend to be loud and are not compatible with sleeping babies...
On 2010 I managed to make a soundproof mini studio at home so finally I could play again! Piece by piece I equipped it with mics (audio technica, shure, sontronics), a recording device (Alesis Multimix 16 USB 2 with a Windows PC) so I could start to record something. The only thing I was missing was something to play onto, and guess what? I found Kompoz...
My influences are mainly John Bohnam (Led Zeppelin), Carter Beauford (Dave Matthews Band), Roberto Gatto, Dave Weckl, Steve Gadd, Steve Copeland. Hey, I said influences... I didn't say I play like them!
Please read here for contribution requests:
It is always a pleasure for me contributing on good music (and there is plenty of it here in kompoz, thanks to you all!!!), but my time is quite limited for that. So please consider that I can take from 1 week to 1 month (even more) to satisfy new requests. And in order not to make this timing even longer, if you intend to make new requests, please consider the following:
1. make sure that there is a drumless track, updated with all the instruments including voice (if existing), and mixed with the rythm sections a little louder than voice or solos
2. I need to know the exact BPM, and it is essential that the BMP have not casual variations. This means that the drumless track must be (tightly) played over click or programmed drum. But please don't record any click on the drumless track
3. The drumless track should have a sync tone...best one for drummers is 2 bars of a click at the songs tempo, 2 bars of silence (for a possible drum fill intro)
4. THANK YOU :)
