A recent hard-rock-waltz :) collaboration with Mark aka Mucus, One Two Scream, inspired me to compose this short and simple waltz. The particularity of the piece is that the violin solo part is 99% played with sautille bowing(*), thus the name. My idea has developed into an interesting waltz piece thanks to the great contributions by Mark.

(*) Sautille ("saltellato" in Italian) is a bowing technique according to which the bow performs small controlled jumps on the strings. A typical example is Paganini's "Moto Perpetuo" (Perpetual Motion).
