I am from Austin Texas. I have been playing guitar and singing for 40 years and making records for 30. I heard Hendrix play the Star Spangle Banner when I was 9 and instantly knew this was what I wanted to devote my life to. When I was 10 my Mom took me to see Andre Segovia in Jones Hall (Houston), it was on this night that I knew I could play the rest of my life and never be great.
