Very amateur guitarist; I know the basic chords and can strum to a beat. I have always played on and off since I was in my teens. I have always enjoyed the creativity of turning a few chords and some lyrics into a song, I've even recorded in a recording studio, along time ago. I don't see myself as a musician or a singer, but to get the message across, I can just about do both. My musical influences will show my age, Electric Light Orchestra, Supertramp, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Crowded House as well as The Verve and Oasis. I like most music as long as it contains a melody of some description.
I have a Stagg 6 string electric guitar and a Tanglewood 6 String semi-acoustic guitar. I also have a Windows XP computer. I have been using my iphone to record simple songs, the app has a built in drum machine that helps me flesh out ideas.
