By age 18 I was working full time as a professional keyboard player and lead singer. Throughout my 30+ years in the music business, I performed throughout 11 western states working with a variety of acts from solo piano/vocals to full bands. I played 300-ish dates a year and made my sole-living working in many styles of bands and acts. This crazy life lead me to write my humorous memoir: I'm Not a Groupie! I'm IN the Band! Found at online book retailers everywhere. (shameless plug but it's free on kindle).
Kompoz has been so wonderful. I love to take the songs I do here and create collections that end up as physical CD's with full artwork and releasing them worldwide. Not that I will sell copies and retire on my royalties, it's just so fun for my own personal archive. I also have produced music videos which is the cherry on top for a song growing from the ground up to a produced single to video. They are all on my website.
I also play in two local bands and have live gigs taking my time. But have no intention of giving up Kompoz, while I don't have as much time right now to contribute, I still follow what's happening and do take part when and where I can. THANK YOU!!
