Fifty years ago I played alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone in my high school's stage, concert, and matching band. In the last five years I've decided to start playing again and have joined up with a few retirees to form an "oldies but goodies" band that plays blues, rock, and funk music. Sometimes I'm asked to play religious/gospel music at church. I spend hours in my basement at least 3 time a week improvising to jazz and blues cd backing tracks, various music websites, and stuff on You Tube.
