Hi Tony, love the 'over done' rolls and slip into the chorus part, especially in the intro verse. This version seems more tighter than your previous take, thanks for the extra effort and result. The instrument part is somewhat simple, but you easily make up for that through the drums, great work. With the drums in place this gives a hint of AC/DC to it (not intended, but nice in hindsight). Cheers! Maarten @ Jean, you're up! :)

I'm working on something in connection with the "AC/DC" reference(Bonn Scott era). Although it's not really my writing style, I've followed these guys since 1977. Saw the "Highway To Hell" tour with "Blackfoot" and "Molly Hatchet" opening for them. A bit deeper than they may get, but I think the title is fitting... Still have a verse and outro(?) to go, will get there tonight. © 2020 John Heavern, Double Edges V1 :11 Life if full of consequences, paradox and misconceptions. Pain and pleasure getting measured on a razor?s double edges. :26 Ch :27 The world is a sword we cannot ignore, a swirling gait that keeps us guessin?. The curve of a life is turned on a knife that?s serving fate on double edges. :42 V2 :43 Dies are cast upon the ocean, stirring clashes of emotion. Choices made are sunk or saved on a wave of a passing notion. :59 Ch 1:00 The world is a sword we cannot ignore, a swirling gait that keeps us guessin?. The curve of a life is turned on a knife that?s serving fate on double edges. 1:15 V3 1:16 Rigid laws are keeping order: commonwealth of fickle borders. Bangin? balls against a wall get dragged into a distant corner. 1:32 Ch 1:33 The world is a sword we cannot ignore, a swirling gait that keeps us guessin?. The curve of a life is turned on a knife that?s serving fate on double edges. 1:48 Br 1:49 Running through a maze of hedges, charting a course of painful lessons. Fate can be a lancing message balancing on double edges. 2:04 BREAK: (:17) Ch 2:21 The world is a sword we cannot ignore, a swirling gait that keeps us guessin?. The curve of a life is turned on a knife that?s serving fate on double edges. 2:36

thank you Maarten. Yes, definitely felt the AC/DC vibe right from the start. Great band, simple music! cheers Tony
