Hi Mark, I'm not a dancer, but this one had me dancing. I added some guitars from 4:47 onwards. I used your mix as the basis and did a little bit of MS treatment - Jim´s bass seems to be a little more detailed and your synth treatments definitely come out a little bit more. You need anyhting else? Just drop me a line. Good night again, Martin

Sounds ace , thanks!! I have featured this mix , all the right things in the right places - did you use your abbey road plug-in ? If so , I get it for free right :-) keep the ideas coming , always thrilled when you get involved !!

Hi Bruce, my dance moves look like a slow waltz danced in a wheelchair in an old people's home. Damn, here come the nurses again....

Hi Anne, everything has been there before and I only made a bit of a brush stroke here and there - tremendous saxophone! Martin

Thanks Martin :) But it's also usually the little things that make a piece then shine another bit. And besides, Dubrae has put his magic hand on the sax - I was just jamming.

I have a running joke with Xy about production vs performing. With a producers hat on, you can afford to make as many mistakes as you like and have some fun on the process, a drink, a chill. This is not the case in performance, you are not afforded the same chance - some of you guys can do both, which is awesome , but performance is definitely outside my remit!! Which is why I enjoy tinkering with everyone elses work so much :-)

Well, there´s probably not much of a difference (at least with me). Usually, I play all the guitar parts through from roughly where I thought they could start right to the end - afterwards I try cherry picking a few bars here and there but I also do some time and tone corrections including copy paste and warping (shame on me). Michelangelo said: "If you knew how much work went into it, you wouldn't call it genius." and that´s simply true for all of us, producers and performers.
