I tried to come up with another track idea. As tempo on your demo is varying a bit I put this roughly at a mean value of 130 Bpm and hope this could work.

Yes, it's NI's sampler library/instrument 'Strummed Acoustic' https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/guitar/session-guitarist-strummed-acoustic/ I'm not a skilled guitar player and I knew Jen likes the sound :)

It has a good sound. I just kept hearing the abrupt chord changes that didn't sound like a real guitar being strummed. Either that or it could sound like that if it was edited after recorded. Either way, this is a good bed track. As layers get added, you won't notice it that much.

The final audio has not been edited. MIDI notes have been edited to generate what NI calls 'fret noise' meaning the noise when moving fingers over strings. I even exaggerated this a bit because I had a talk with Jen before. I guess your point means, chords are changing too perfectly? A real player has to lift his fingers to grab a new chord and thus you hear some open strings between the chords? I can have a look into this to improve. Guess this is more addressed in NI's second version of the library. I could check out their version 2. I just didn't find a matching pattern quickly in v2.
