Creative Brief

Jimmy Smith's preeminent funk/jazz classic...  For a reference... Check out:

Bass?  Sure....  I'd love to hear a Wilton Felder-ish tasty bass groove.

I'm mostly interested in seeing how this kompoz thing works!  Would love a great funky rhythm guitar track and solos of any type of solo instrument...  Guitar, horn, etc.

There's two versions here... One with the B3 playing the head and then comping over the form until the head comes back at the end and a second version with the B3 playing the head and a solo over the form until the head hits again at the end.  Use the former to add your solo magic and the second to lay down a tasty rhythm track.

I'd prefer a minimal amount of reverb as I'll add it once I get some tracks back!

Basically a funky blues in G.  The bridge chorus kinda has a 3/4 feel and goes up chromatically from Bb to D and then again from Eb to G.
