I always write to prompts and what not so I started thinking "how about I just sit and freewrite what's on my mind"

And so I came up with the first part of a planned Suite. Anything and everything is welcome, please help out :)

As I drift aimlessly

Surrounded by painful bliss

I wonder what is happening

To my heart amidst

This state of disconnect

That paralyzes my soul

This dreadful suffering

That somehow makes me whole

I?m in-between, laughter and screams

Nightmare and dream, I?ve become numb

I?m in-between, the shadows it seems

Not sure what this means, am I now done?

About things that I can?t change

I wonder if in reality

I?m going insane

I need to re-connect

With all that used to be

But I?m just drifting in

In and out of a dream

The time is ticking, the feeling is sticking

In every way I?m so unsure

The dream is dying, and I am still trying

In every way to just restore
