Don't change a thing. This song doesn't need anything else done to it! So much emotion and absolute stellar musicianship between the lot of you. I came here to answer you help wanted Mastering ad... There's nothing I can do for you because it already sounds amazing :D Timmy

How did you record the piano against the vocal? Must have been a tempo set at that time?

I set the bpm to 55 and recorded the piano, WITHOUT the click being heard. Later i made tempo changes to the track to allow the vocal to pause and allow the track to breath. That explained, i have uploaded a tempo track that i just made. It has a click track the speeds up and slows according to the tempo map being use. It makes no sense 50% of the time, and is very loose where it does seem to match up. Again, this was created on the fly, no quantize, just feel. So, again... a real click doesnt exactly exists, but you now have what i have.

Essentially, the vocal is running at around 55bpm, and you will notice this once you get into v2. But V1 is all feel, its all piano following the vocal, and in certain places the tempo was slowed down to add pauses to the vocal. IN a few place the vocal was even moved forward and backward to make it work with phrasing. So no click is gonna help in verse one. In verse two, rhythmically the piano start sticking to a pattern, and you will notice things are closer to 55 bpm at this point... BUT... its not dead on because I wasn't paying attention to the click, i was following the vocal. Since i didnt need a bass or drums to lock in later, i didnt need to give the click the final say to how this was gonna feel. It was a choice, and it didn't seem to keep me from placing a cello of my own over the track and keep it feeling in time. If you need a click, this isnt the song to work on, its a mess.
