This is a project I've been working on for a little while now and last Monday an event changed the lyrical direction of the song... One of the outdoor cats that I've been taken care of since he was a kitten came home in pretty bad shape... His left front leg banged up, his eye damaged and his jaw bone busted... We kept him in solitary confinement for a little over a week under vets orders and had to feed him with a syringe for 4 days... He has returned outside where he wants to be and he's going to make it but he is scarred for life... We already have two pound puppies and a female cat that is not fixed that was also a stray in the house... All the evidence point to an act of man and animal cruelty that almost took the life of this innocent soul... "When Angels Cry" is my way of speaking out for Kitty Bob and all the animals that suffer at the hand of man...
