here's an alternative arrangement idea. currently the first half of the song is structured in 3 parts: part 1: jigsaw-part with different lead vocals part 2: the kids part part 3: big refrain instead of repeating all of them again in the second half of the song, part 1 and 2 would be replaced by kind of a breakdown part. it doesn't need to be as it it is currently done and also the scattered vocals is only one possible solution. what do you think about this concept?
So the second half would be like a fractured version of the first? I've been thinking of something like this too. Jeremy is a confused boy so if voices are coming at him from all directions, it will push him over the edge. Which is exactly what happens later in the story.
currently I used the last verse sung by mack for the scattered part as this has not been used so far. but can mix it up with some vocals from others if available... the second refrain is a duplicate of the first refrain, which is o.k. in my opinion. so shall I work further on this base? (no problem if not...)
Sec part sounds pretty cool Fabian :) I was just wondering who that was on the latter part, is that me...lol?? Whos the one singing inbetween Christine on chorus? Why not extend the song a bit I say and get the sec verse in also somewhere, its pretty short when you think of it!
I thought it was you M!!
you did, i couldnt regognize it at all :)
unless it was me...
hehe..is it? Now you mention it it does sound kind of vocaloidish :)
yep, it's both you mack :-) good idea to insert second verse again, think between the scattered part and the second chorus should be the right place. the step between them is anyway a bit hard...
I like the breakdown part, it comes as a surprise and brings the song to be more contemporary :) It probably only needs tweaking a bit to make it less harsh on the transition back into the song but it's only a tiny criticism!
