updated version V53: - added Caleb's (Caldro) vocal track ("there's the boy") - lowered the overall volume of all vocal tracks a bit to have better balance between instruments and vocals - added "cracy pumps" to the scattered part
This song gets better every time I hear it. It's crazy good!!!
Hey Ricky, I almost forgot to give you my feedback to your tracks, sorry. I've tried to include them in my mix but unfortunately I had to decide to not use them. There was already too much processing on it which didn't allowed me to shape them into the mix (processing already processed tracks makes the situation even worse). So if you still like to be part of the bullying mob (which would be great), I would like to kindly ask you to upload an unprocessed version. Keep in mind there should be lot of confidence in it as you are bullying jeremy. Tuning is not so important as there is a mob and not a choir. So try to use a tone range where you feel most comfortable so you're sounding strong.
Gotta say, when I sat down and wrote the first song in the Jeremy project and presented it to my dad, I had no idea it would become this big. Talents such as yourself coming together and just blowing me away with your skills. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this is amazing, and I'm grateful to everyone involved in making this track, and all other tracks in this series. Great mix, keep up the amazing work on everything you do! :D
Hey Aimee, I agree there's an awesome team working on this project. Had a lot of fun with the song so far.... What I wanted to ask you if you potentially could write a few more verses? There's a gap starting at 2:32 until the last chorus. I think it would be great to have some vocals there again... Let me know your thoughts Cheers Fabian
Fabian, do you think it might work if we had a rapper in that gap?
very interesting idea, i may would have to remove some elements to give more space to the vocal but that's not problem. do you have someone in mind to ask?
not yet but I can look around if it will work
None of my business but I'd use the "what's the matter Jeremy" section and add some vocal fx and whatnots to fill that gap. Sort of brings it full circle.
you mean the bit with the kids talking?
Yes
wouldn't it be too much repeating stuff? i mean i can give it a try but liked the kids-part as a one off surprising thing...
Unless they say something different, I suppose?
i've played a bit around with it unfortunately without any cool result :-(
Just an idea from an un-connected party. No worries if it doesn't work for ya :-)
the idea does sound interesting, so i'm potentially the problem :-) could you give a shot on it?
I can't find the kid vocal sep.
Hi all... been away for a really long time releasing a couple of albums with the band but I want to start putting the Jeremy Project back together. Just wondered who is still here and active, whether you're happy to pick things up again and what we need to do next?
welcome back :-) i'm still around and the DAW-session should be available in case you want to build up on V53. However no problem if you want to start mixing/arranging from scratch.... Still like the track and by listening to it again I think I would need to improve the dynamics of the track and some other slightly adjustments on the mix to start with.
I'm here. I haven't contributed a lot to the track, but can help in whatever way possible with respect to Lyrics
