First time active here, so please forgive any faux pas.
I loved the chord progression and the overall feel so I ran with it. Submitted for your consideration:
Rhodes MKII Piano,
two violas and
a cello, as well as
a bass guitar and
an over driven guitar.
I leveled the vox and EQ'd a bit to bring them up front. I EQ'd and slightly compressed the Acoustic Guitar then balanced it all tonally and compressed the mixbus and targeted -12dbfs.
I can create stems or just upload the raw tracks later if that is of interest.
Thanks. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
All interesting stuff, Bob.
You may notice that this is an old project.
It is one that I tend to revive at this time of year in different version so I don't, in fact, finalise any of these.
They are just for a bit of seasonal fun.
Therefore I thank you for your interest and your time in working on this.
You have made a rather interesting new version.
Please note that this year's version is here with a female vocal: https://www.kompoz.com/music/collaboration/967161
I had noticed that it was an older project, but it spoke to me, and the studio is a little slow right now and I wanted to have some fun.
I am glad you at least find it interesting, that and having a little seasonal fun was my goal.
You have an interesting combination of parts in there.
I presume the strings are synth based and the rest 'real'?
Like I say in my comments this one is an old song and will not be finalised but I may have use of your talents in future projects.
Yes, the strings are EastWest Orchestral Diamond. Of course played in on the keyboard.
Yes, the percussion, bass, guitar and Rhodes are real.
You done good.
I appreciate the opportunity to participate.
