My name is Kim and I was the vocalist on A Color of the Sky with Shiv which you uploaded a drum track to.  If you need any help on this track, My Life, I would love to help out in any way I can.  I am only a vocalist and write lyrics... I am not a musician, but here is my profile if you think I could be of any help, please just let me know!! A HUGE welcome to you both and Oli, I am amazed at how much talent you are already displaying at such a wonderful young age!! I wish you THE BEST!! :) :) ~ Kim :)

Nigel: hi Kim, your daughters song was delightful! Lovely voice, lyrics and sympathetic arrangement. It's wonderful to see our children follow our love of making music. I think Ollie will be in touch about a collaboration with your daughter at some point.

Fantastic! I let Ellie know about Ollie (I thought those were actually cute names together--HA!) and she said she could do lyrics and vocals if he wanted her to. She'll wait for Ollie to respond and we can go from there. Have a beautiful day! :)

Hi Guys, Elle set up her own account. I thought it was pretty clever of you to add both parent and young adult name so I did the same for her. She is ELLIEandKIM found here: http://https://www.kompoz.com/music/artist/ELLIEandKIM Feel free to contact her whenever you're ready! Chat later gators! :)

That's great, actually it was Ollie's idea. If he gets his homework and chores done tonight I'm sure he'll be on here later... In our city we have a cool holiday education programme called Rock School UK (I guess inspired by the film). Here's a link to him in action from the most recent holiday course in February. They rehearse for 5 days and have to write two original songs and learn some covers and then record a CD and do a gig on the Saturday for parents and families. He's the front man with the green guitar. Plays drums on just one tune. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCN37UzyIIe7gPSdy9anBEpOXHWdnU06M https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCN37UzyIIe7gPSdy9anBEpOXHWdnU06M

haahaha, "homework and chores"... Ellie definitely knows the sound of those tunes! :) :) Just checked out the videos--FANTASTIC!! That's a wonderful idea and really great production!! Nice to see and hear parents supporting their children's dreams all the while showing them the work and commitment involved, too. I'm a strong believer that both are important. :) :) It's funny you mention this program. I've had the opportunity to visit Germany this past February for the month and will be visiting again for the summer... working on my own music projects. I (sort of) chronicled my time on my personal tumblr blog. Anyway, the point is, as I've been searching around and trying to organize my own stuff, I came across this program in Germany: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an-mJw5Fd6I&feature=youtu.be Songs fuer coole kids---it teaches them how to produce a music video. I thought that was a really neat idea. I'm hoping on one of my visits to Germany, Elle will be able to come with me and we can seek out more "young adult" oriented material like your program and the program in Germany. :) :) I subscribed to your YouTube Channel so I can keep up (hopefully--I"m not always good about checking notifications) what's going on with the program. Also, Elle said that she is on Google Hangouts if Ollie does any of that --- she posts mostly there -- if he ever wants to contact her. Thanks for the open conversation---hopefully, they can make something creative and fun out of all of this!! Chat soon! :)

Hello I really hate to say this. You must listen to ..'Where is m'y mind.... by the Pixies. I'M afraid you have exactly the same chord progression

There are BILLIONS of songs with the exact same chord progression. That's how music works - there are only so many progressions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOlDewpCfZQ&html5=1
