Cool, Tommy, thank you. :-) Just so you know, I have no problem comping different takes together, in case you had multiple approaches going on. I've noticed that some soloists try to lay down the perfect solo, and to me that would be a lot of pressure, lol. I comp tracks all the time, and as long as I'm able to maintain continuity and flow, I'm often able to have a very nice track that is actually a mix of different takes. You sure have a nice command of your instrument. Very impressive. Thanks again. :-)
That's a great tip for everyone trying to come up with the perfect track Jimmy, and that's how singers nail down vocals. As long as all the takes are consecutive and you do a good job editing each section nobody's able to tell the difference. I've seen people boast online... "First take"... who cares! If I was planning on seeing you live in concert then yeah I guess that would be important, but as a recording artist it's just not. Nice to hear some sax solo's again BTW. :-D
Nicely done guys. I like this song a lot. I like the tenor sax solo too......very nicely done!
Thanks, Guys. I don't know what I'd do without comping for my own tracks. I'd probably never complete any, lol. Mixing in the sax solo right now. It's a real joy to listen to in solo. Such command by Tommy. I hope you all create a terrific weekend. :-)
Thanks guys it's a great tune, and you are all pro players for sure. Jimmy I forgot that my sep is wet, do you a dry one?
