My daughter likes metal and we're working on a song together, so she asked me to listen to a tune she likes called "Stranded" by Gojira....I listened to it once then immediately wrote this based on my first impression...Out of 3 hours recording guitar, bass, and drums, 2 hours was spent trying to get my gear to "sound" heavy... (I don't think it's heavy enough still..haha)

But anyway....I kinda like the raw, slightly out of tune sound I have and while she's working on lyrics, I thought I'd post to see if anyone felt a melody that might work or wants to solo through the whole thing...

I'd love to hear a searing Jerry Goodman/Mahavishnu-esque violin ...( I'm showing my age...))), but can't remember ever hearing anything like that on Kompoz
