This is just a test using a new Harrison Console DAW ...
Well, that sounds awesome! Really nothing to ask for except for more cowbell maybe.
No idea what's that Harrison console is but there's probably a cheaper option called Starr console and the premium version, the Lennon console.
Lol ... Harrison Mixbus 4 ...
This sounds awesome Luc and all! Fantastic job everyone :))
I think it's fantastic and there's no need to further tweak it.
Feels like I need this song for my portfolio (I'm doing session work online) - could I get permission and credits?
Great job !!! Sounds clear and powerful.
Hey, I've been traveling so sorry this is my first chance to listen and its on my cell phone so not the full effect, but AWESOME. I love it! So thankful to all of you guys for helping make this such a great song. I think it's definitely finished. I can't wait to get home and hear it on my speakers.
My next step is I want to submit this song to the Nashville Songwriters Association International and have it evaluated professionally. It's a long shot that anything more would happen with it, but it's only $20 and I would like to at least get the feedback to see what they think. So I would like to hear what you all think of that idea. I will need to get the permission and credits squared away before doing that, so if someone more experienced than I could advise that would be very much appreciated...probably Luc...since he has been involved since the beginning of this very, very long project.
Let me know, and again...THANK YOU, for working with me on this. :)
Hopefully not for the engineering, the song is good :) I'd say go for it, man !
Credits are as usual : lyrics for the lyricist and the instruments split fairly between all. I for one am not involved in the split because I am just the engineer, so split between you all and let's hope you guys can make something out of this song :):):):):)
I'm not sure what to do with a song if it's not a real band, so i'm sort of curious where you can take it.
I'm also sure recorded music today won't bring much $$$ so I'm not worried about shares and such, split is as it seems logical. The song is yours, Ryan, and we were just the instrumentalists. But it's one hell of a song and I'm happy you've got it properly done in the end.
The only way I may use it is as an item in my portfolio, so I'm asking if I can have this file and send it to my clients or show it on www pretending I've played guitars and bass and arranged it. It's sometimes a problem if you submit it here and there, so I'm not sure everything I ask is available.
A local songwriter whom I had coffee with recommended this service to me:
At worst, I can get some professional feedback on what we have created and share it with all of you. Best case scenario, they pick the best songs from what people submit and create a demo tape to be played at a producer's luncheon (I think quarterly), so if you're good enough to be one of the dozen or so songs picked for that opportunity, then that's your shot to get picked up for something more. Like I said, unlikely, but at worst, it will generate some good feedback.
Wow this turned into something truly amazing! Irish you definitely got the right vocalist for this. The whole thing reminds of... who is that? Maybe 90s Ozzy if Chris Cornell was playing guitar for him instead of Zakk Wylde. And the vocalist... Okay, oddly reminds me of (I can't think of the name but he joined up with the Doors for a few live shows when they were all still around and they had to rename it Doors of Perception or something like that). THAT Guy and a just a pinch of Layne Staley in just the right places. Honestly though my favorite part is that guitar. It ain't nothing fancy. You keep it simple. But it has just the right tone and just the right riffs to keep your attention on it. Or maybe it's just me cause I'm a guitar guy. Anyway, dude this is awesome! I loved it!
