Great. Now, I need a voxless, production mix for vocals and a click track mix for drums. It needs drums.

Do I need to look for a drum guy? Do you think some slight violin would be too much?

VocalRun   commented 3yr+7mo ago

Let's get drums in first. Violin would be like for a drumless mix. It needs a drum kick.

Do you think it needs a light bass guitar? Only in the second part?

I think the entire sing needs bass, drums, gitar and maybe piano. Maybe enter at diff times, but it needs to be in by the vocals. At least the bass needs to be in before vocals. Drums can kick at ch1.

Vocalrun you sound beautiful on this one, I want you to stand out and not be outdone by the music but I do like the added sax

Whoa. Stop the pony. Percussion and bass would never over-shadow these vocals. You need to build the sound on an almost subconcious level. Nobody said it would be loud. I don't want listeners to get bored and listen, if I'm getting bored, so are they.

Sax is a nice nice touch... Figgy doing perc on this will lift and move the whole piece... Then get a nice sexy fretless bass to create the floor.. and its gold!! After that the proper mix will ensure the vox are placed at the top...

Nice song, folks! Yes, it definitely needs a bass and - at least - some percussion. I'm very confident that Raul will do a great job, as always. Let me know if you still need a mixing guy after the missing parts have been added! I might be interested. :)

So, I gave you the sep for this or did Alexander use an uploaded comp of mine for this? You guys have the sep, right? I can't remember which way that all went.
