Hey Kurt, this is funny - I just uploaded a re-rendered version of the mix #1 according to your suggestions (just to get the full resolution) and noticed that either you uploaded at the exact same time or Kompoz just mistook me for you ... NB: I hadn't been familiar with the method of driving a digital mix into (ever so slight) clipping but took on your advice and have to admit that it really works. I promise I will from now on omit the ever present sum limiter on non-EDM trakcs. Once okay with the metho I actually looked at a couple of commercial mixes and noticed that they do the same, even to the effect that mp3s converted from commercial CDs will actually generate quite revealing positive dB intersample peaks on the meter when imported back into a DAW! Anyway, one always learns...
Does anyone mind if I share this on some social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Google) and my own personal website--with proper creds... of course!? :) :)
Absolutely not from my end - please go ahead. I might actually do the same.
Yes, please do that. Absolutely ok. What are we doing next? Kim, Markus - do you have anything for me to chew on? Any own ideas, fragments, lost tracks from the past snoozing in the sea of unheared tunes worth to pick them up and rise em to the surface (at least for a few moments hehe)? Looking forward Thx K.
Love your voice Kim...Great job on this...Keep on singin'! (-:
