As requested by Susan. Here is a mix with 2 guitars and autoharp for tracking vocals. Does anyone think we need bass in here for some bottom end or do the guitar chords carry it? I know you mentioned mandolin, Ryan, but I have a feeling that there will be too much frequency clash with that tasty autoharp. The two instruments have a lot on common tonally. After this evening I'm going to have limited time available for a couple of days. Family visiting from tomorrow until Wednesday night. Probably be able to do a little mixing but not allowed to play music while baby grandson is around. :((

'Interesting question about the bass. That anchor guitar has a lot of bass tone in it. That just might do it. In the finish mix stages, you can take a lot of that nylon-string guitar out of there to make room for the Weis. or the pedal steel. I may retrack that as the song gets established in a voice that uses a different frequency from the other instruments. 'Just a few runs and fills.

Yea I'd say after we get the lap steel figured out, the 2 guitar parts, and Susan's vocal we call it good. There's no need for bass as the guitar already covers a lot of that frequency.
