Hi Gus, .. like this, much. Electronic pianos .. great instrument.
Geeky question .. is this a Fender Rhodes?
Hey, Ken. Aren't they just lovely?
No, actually this is a Wurlitzer 140B. I'm glad you asked though. This is not the real thing, its a plug in by Spectronics called Keyscape. I think I can say that it is one of the best VST(i) plugins I have ever used. Not only because of how great it sounds, the pianos, the electric keyboards, ect. ect. but because you select the velocity to match you're particular keyboard. I play on a Korg SV-1 (while we are geeking, its the special edition with white black keys and black white keys XD ) ANYWAY, keyscape has a setting for the SV-1 and when you set it, the grand piano FEELS like a grand. the upright FEELS like an upright. The toy piano FEE-....Okay you get the idea. so yeah. its awesome. The plug in brought me back to actually playing the keyboard and not always just tinkering with plugins, ya know?
sorry to blather. I like talking about this stuff haha
so yeah. =)
Well, .. your Wurlitzer sounds good.
Hmm, .. the technology just keeps on, keeping on. Yes, the velocity thing .. I picked up a Roland D-50, back when velocity sensitivity was still something of a novelty, as I'm recalling. I still treasure that thing.
Thanks for the replying back.
Hey, .. again, nice track. Hope you keep it going.
