Wow .. good job. I was right! (see my reply to your post in Community).
I'll be calling on ya.
not so good ray, the organ man, my parts too, listen to the feature track brother.
please check the featured track for a reference mix, the alignment is way off on a few of the instruments, its a common practice here
to use a short section of the start as an alignment tool in stead of a sync tone, that short section is muted on all tracks before mixdown.
since all of us do not use the same DAW's, its imperative to expand the view as wide as possible and nudge tracks into alignment.
Wow I should have checked the file before uploading it. That's down right embarrassing. I'll upload the right track when I get off work. I save at different points of the process.
no need to be embarrassed man, we all mess up here.
this song does contain a couple files that are not the same length (extended beginning),
I do not believe they were intended to remain that way in the mix, please refer to walt for clarification
if needed, but I bet you will figure it out.
relax, take your time, no deadlines, we are all easy going fun people who love music
and are having a blast doing it.
OH....and welcome to the best site there is for music collaboration Jay, you are going to love it here.
the last tune I was on that was sent to a pro mastering house came back so distorted that
they did the next 3 for free.
Thanks Bill ! Some seps are synced to drums at :013
another common practice on this web site is the uploading of dry seps as well as the wets, they can be found in 2 different places
depending on how it was chosen by the person who uploaded them, either they will be different files seen from this view....
they will be uploaded as a second version as seen here....
click the tab "Version 1" that is not highlighted in green.
(play each version to hear and confirm wet or dry)
this might help you if you need the drys or use a combination of both wet and drys.
(sometimes its necessary)
hope this helps you
