so i probably should have put this in the demo section - but i thought it may help to hear the voice over the music track - I think once i get the music you guys are happy with and the right cadences and rhythms i will be able to sing over the top of the music and fit into it
Sure, I can go ahead with my idea, assuming you can adapt to it later. I'll can substitute my vocal in a mix idea to show you exactly what I mean. But my guess is that you won't be able to sing it in the current way. It's a subtle change, but for me, vocal synchronization and alliteration is important. By the way, another related comment is that in the second vs you say "Tiny World", but I think continuing Tiny Town is better. This emphasizes the title and is alliterative. You could always say, "this worlds a tiny town" or something similar if you want to increase the scope.
Love the tune...everything, and that voice!! Great listen after 2nd shift is all I got to say :)
Hello Mandy: You haven't accepted anything so far. What is your opinion? Should we continue?
hey Al - i actually dont know how to accept stuff - or havent looked into it so its all a mystery - am i supposed to accept everything - I am really very open minded and think its all great so far - What is a second shift? Good idea about 'this worlds a tiny town' am in agreement about vocal synchronisation - i feel the vocal in the 'rmix3' is not quite in - or is it that the music is kind of higher than the music i sung the vocal to - thats why i think i would like to sing over the top of the final sound mix - because i would alter the singing to suit different music
Hi Mandy, love your talent!!...2nd shift means I work for my employer from the afternoon to night shift. 3rd shift is night to morning shift
Hey Mandy, as for management, I'm no expert yet either, but there are some things that as the creator, only you can do. You can go into settings and assign different roles to other people in the project, and I can help we management if you want to promote us. Also I believe that once you accept an idea, that user becomes a collaborator automatically. I don't see much information on the help page about roles and what they can do, but as the owner you have rights to assign roles. Paul
Hello Mandy: Looks like you figured out how to accept things. Other ideas you can accept into the archives for a history and possible alternatives, or just delete those ideas you don't approve of because they have been updated, or no longer fit the direction. You vocals just keep getting better. The timing is probably because different versions have subtle shifts, especially going from wav to mp3 or vice versa. The transition shifts the starts.... It is why there needs to be a leading count for syncing.
hi Paul - i tried again to make you manager but it still wont let me and thanks very much Al - i think that at the end when we are happy with everything i will buy a $5 guest pass and upload the final singing as a wave file - looking through your previous comments that seems to be the go is that correct
Hello Mandy: Yes, wav files should be the format when we get to the final mix...
Mandy, I think the steps to promote me are as follows. I don't have a collaborator in my project to confirm the steps, but I think they are: 1. Settings from the dashboard 2. Edit participant roles 3. Select gear to right of my name and hopefully there is a choice there to give me permissions? Let me know what choices you see and if we need help we can email the site or ask in the community groups. Paul
