Notch filter now applied to damp the cymbals (as requested) without damaging the integrity of the mix.
I am not sure if you are aware, but the seps of the drums are from the sister project here: http://https://www.kompoz.com/music/collaboration/90609/files My bass sep might be there too. You can play with the full mix if you want. D
Thanks Dan, I have been more than happy to use your mix which is nicely balanced and has come out great as a master. The cymbals problem is more of a production matter and seems to be have been due to the recycling of the backing track which was not an optimal situation.
By George, I think he's got it!!!! With these drums, it's the optimal mastering...thank you for going back again. The only improvement would be to take out the cynbals altogether. Dan, I'm going to change this to the name "Somehow" that you gave it. I don't know why it took me this long to see how great that title is. Perhaps mourning... Thank you BOTH so soooo much!
Awesome, everyone! Nice sax, Nemonty, and the groove is in the pocket. Great piece, and vox by Crystal. This is smoldering! Oh, I love the mix, Gemini!
Oh yeah, this is one of my favorites, dripping wet with soul. Have you done any playing with it? Would be a great showcase for a smokin guitar too.
WHAT?!? One of the best on Ktown! The lyrics. The vocals. The harmonies, the sax, the mix, the feel of REAL soul!! Thank You JESUS!! haha...
