OK, I could hear it much clearer in the sep...the guitar is very much tied to the chord progression. Very nice stuff!

Yes I though starting in the chords to fill out your chorus them coming out with some simple but soulful lines really worked well. I like that you hear a lot more in the sep it tells me it's blending in well into the music that is there. Also I find jguitar.com doesn't always get your chords right....as sometimes the context and key determine the chord name (in my opinion). I came up with this for your chorus. Pretty interesting chord progression too, good tension. Key of A Major I IV I VI A D7 A E7 I iii II ii A C#7 B7 Bm7 I IV V V A D7 E6 E7 iii II ii C#7 B7 Bm7

sorry about the jguitar.com situation...I don't read music so I use it to identify chords. When I enter a chord into that program it frequently lists out 4 chord names or more!.. makes me think I must be using some strange chords...I guess that's what happens when you figure out chords on your own : (

Oh by the way...if I ever upload another song you like enough to play on, just let me know if there are any chords you have questions about...I can always return to jguitar.com and find the additional chord names they give to me...wait a tick, that might just add to the problem :)

That's all good Jeff - definitely not saying your chords are wrong! Just thought it would interest you to see my interpretation, I sort of feel what note feels the most like home in the chorus and start at that point. So in this case I felt A was the note, it had a D and E in it, which are classic A Major, the C# then sold it. I think that is the cool thing about music 20 people could hear the chords 20 different ways. I find if I work out a key for a progression that works then the solos can sound so much better.
