A spin-off is a collaboration that is created from another collaboration. Spin-offs are sometimes created to make alternative versions of a song, perhaps changing the genre (e.g., country to reggae), lyrics, or any other element. When you create a spin-off, all of the original tracks and participants (at that point in time) are carried forward to the new collaboration. You can then add additional tracks, collaborators, and comments.

Not all collaborations allow spin-offs. It's up to the original collaboration's creator to decide if spin-offs are permitted, and if so, who can create them.
