Hey there and thank you for reading. This song is the first one of my first LP. I’ve set up a base so you can get a feel for what I’m going for: loungy, funky, jazzy etc. I’m looking to add more interesting stuff to the song as it currently is pretty monotonous. Although this was intentional I want the grove to stay in the background and let lead instruments talk in the front(I hope that makes sense). For this song in particular I think a trumpet or saxophone solos along the song would work but I’m open to any ideas. Also the drums are pretty dry and some acoustic feel would definitely help. I could use some help with keyboards as well as I’m not a key board player and I’ve considered adding vocal but haven’t found the right vocalist yet. The song seems to make more sense with some rap style lyrics with chorus but again I’m open to ideas. Cheers
