Hi Brian!! LOVE IT!! It's very ballad like! I have an idea to make a spin of your version here and make a different version than what is here. What do you think about that?? If I spun this one and you uploaded (seperate, lossless) seps to the spin. If that's cool with you then I'll do it... just let me know! I'd love to continue this version!! Appreciate this, Brian!! :)
Hi Brian, I like the concept, but I'm going to wait for it to go through Kim's head ..............
A drums feel check in. Piano tempos appropriately varies slightly at parts so will need more listens/takes to get just right.
Cool!! I'll spin... and link here!! Thanks a lot Brian! I really love it! :) :)
also the vocals are going to get a rehaul so please don't think what I uploaded is how it will sound! :)
I hope to get time today to work on acoustic guitar for this.
What's your plan?
Incorporate git with piano or a new version?
I'd like to keep this one with a guitar throughout... light, delicate, etc. It appears that maybe a bit of an Argentinian flair may be coming in with the drums... sep here:
Brian's version, I've asked a sax player to take that version. Just asked so , of course, don't know for sure.. but so far , that's the plan. hahaha, (of course, given that it all works out and Antonio is OK with it all too!) :)
Hugs, Dear! Nice to reconnect and hope you're staying healthy and safe!! xxoo
Hmmm .... on the fence about that.
I'll just do what I do and you can decide, sweet one.
Hi everybody good morning!!
Acoustic guitar and saxophone player? ... mmmm I like Kim. This is going to sound fantastic. Only the bassist fails us.
I may do bass yet. See how it goes.
Hi all - a little confused on the direction here. I had thought the concept was a ballad with beautiful light drums and guitar to accompanying the base track. Are you looking for a heavier more rhythmic drum support? (though not sure how that would fit the current tempo and feel). Happy to contribute in any direction.
Hi Brian, yes!! Very sorry... and of course, it's me so confusion comes along with everything else! :)
I originally had exactly in mind what you did but with Antonio accepting the more Latin drum track (which is completely fine... he's the boss) then I just shifted quickly to continue on with your track as a spin... since I think that will advance a little quicker (possibly).
My (untrained) vision still thinks what you did... or something VERY similar with a nice sax would be beautiful! I wasn't envisioning both guitar and sax which is why I thought spin... where the guitar parts and sax parts could be separate.
However, , you as one of the real musicians here, please feel free to correct me!!
Good morning, I thought maybe Dylan's Sep was better with the song. It is true that I did not ask for an opinion and I am sorry. Brian's sep is also beautiful but I particularly like Dylan's more, without detracting from Brian at all. Even so we can ask for more opinions and if in the end I was wrong with the choice I apologize in advance. The singer has to be comfortable with the song and if you are more comfortable with this sep you are the boss Kim.
Hi Antonio, no no no!! Please don't worry!! I'm a really really bad project manager so there's always a bit of confusion when I start something (especially spins where I easily get confused).
For me, Brian's drums fit really well the light ballad version so I think if we make it's own seperate collab where he can upload his seps there and we can work on it separately from what Dylan has done... that will help people like me who easily get confused. :) :)
Brian, I created a spin so we could work over there... when you're comfortable that you're ready, can you upload your lossless, individual seps there, please?? Thank you!!! Sorry for the confusion!!
Oh, So I totally agree we will have two different views of the same song. I find it very enriching musically spoken. Okay.
