Yikes! 102 Fahrenheit today and tomorrow it will be 105 (40.5 Celsius). I know some Scandinavian or something may come and reprimand me for complaining lol . . . yes I know it can get way worse weather-wise than California. But still, perhaps I should write a blues song or something . . . any ideas for how to start??? :)

The only places in California like that are where the millionaires live! I used to live in a place like that, because my family bought the house in the early 60's, but now like many of my fellow normal-salary Californians we're being forced inland. :/ Funny I was talking to a real estate agent once who was recruited out to my old neighborhood. The recruiter promised the ultimate seller's market, saying "this is the land of poor people living in million dollar homes" hahaha That is both a funny and sad reality of all the regular-weather places in California. But I digress . . . I actually love it here, so much nature, but still . . . HOT! :)

Get some Ice Cream - search for a place with a shadow - under a tree - write some hot lyrics ! Suggestion - Sunburn Blues ! Remember back your last extreme Sunburn and i am sure you will get in the right mood to write some fine Lyrics ! Everyone had at minimum one time an extreme Sunburn and will by listening / reading your Lyrics remember maybe some of the things too ( Conection to the Song/ Words ) ! Stay Safe !

haha . . . yep, especially as a hiker . . . you forget your sunscreen around these parts and you can feel the radiation on your neck for the next several days. lol Thanks for the suggestions! :)

Ironically, you'd have to wake up (really early) this morning to even go outside lol . . . so yeah, a pretty fitting cliche. :D

Alice Cooper has a great line in his 'Feed my Frankenstein' song that is 'Make my tattoos melt in the heat' Maybe you could have a play on that? Something like: 'My tattoos have all melted Once they looked so cool Now it looks liked they were inked By a half drunk, half blind, fool'
